Course Description: A practical course assisting the student in cultivating a vibrant personal relationship with God. Special attention is given to prayer, praise, worship, and music.

Course Objectives:

1. To deepen the quality of your relationship with the Lord.

2. To develop a consistent and rewarding prayer life-style by giving practical input on the what and how of devotions, and how to remove the roadblocks.

3. To understand the importance of the prayer dynamic as an essential element of spiritual growth and well-being.

4. To be more sensitive in hearing from God.

5. To understand the purpose and power of worship and praise, and the role that music plays in this.

6. To cultivate the ability to discern spiritually edifying music and make practical applications.

7. To establish the principles and practice of worship which is "in spirit and truth."

Course Requirements:

1. Listen carefully to each lesson, taking thorough notes as you do. Then answer the review questions on the Worksheet at the end of the lesson. The Worksheets will be sent back to C.L.T.I. in two groups of 12.

2. There will be a Study Project located in back of the Worksheets. It is recommended that you work on the project throughout the time it takes to complete the course. When complete you will send the Prayer Project Chart and the book report to C.L.T.I.

3. There will be an exam following Lessons 1-12 and a second exam following Lessons 13-24. A final exam will then be given when all the work for the course has been completed.
