Course Description: A detailed study of the local church in God’s plan, the structure and order of the New Testament church and the ministries of the local church and their functions.

Course Objectives:

1. To teach an overview of the theology of the church.

2. To demonstrate the biblical centrality of the local church in God’s plan.

3. To describe the plan and pattern of the New Testament local church.

4. To give practical instruction concerning local church life and ministry.

Course Requirements:

1. Listen carefully to each lesson, taking thorough notes as you do. Then answer the review questions on the Worksheet at the end of the lesson. The Worksheets will be sent back to C.L.T.I. in two groups of 12 and a final group of 9.

2. There will be a Study Project located in back of the Worksheets. It is recommended that you work on the project throughout the time it takes to complete the course. Send the completed Project in to C.L.T.I. with your last group of Worksheets.

3. There will be an exam following Lessons 1-2, 13-24, and 25-33. A final exam will then be given when all the work for the course has been completed.
