PERSONAL EVANGELISM
Course Syllabus

Course Description: This course is designed to prepare the student to reach out to others with the love of God for the purpose of sharing the Gospel with them. It includes keys to preparing the heart for evangelism and keys to sharing the Gospel.

Tomczak, Larry. Divine Appointments. Ann Arbor: Servant, 1986. $6.95.

Course Objectives:

1. To free the student from old evangelism stereotypes so they can have the liberty to share the Gospel in their life's course.

2. To give the student a strategy for reaching out to others.

3. To give the student instruction on how to effectively share the Gospel.

Course Requirements:

1. The Study Questions must be answered on the Worksheet at the end of each lesson.

2. The Text Reading Assignments will also be due at the end of each lesson. Please check off your reading assignment at the top of each Worksheet. At the end of the course a one-page critique of each book must be turned in with your Study Project. Each critique must be typed and double spaced.

3. There will be a Study Project due at the end of the course. This project involves writing your own Gospel Presentation Booklet. A description of the project and the appropriate forms are provided after the Worksheets.

4. There will be one exam to be taken at the end of the course.

1. Worksheets, including Reading Assignments (40%)

2. Study Project (35%)

3. Exam (25%)
